Former English undergrad, Walter Schlinger, stands alone in a wide, infinite, green field.

In this meta-theatrical solo performance, Walter reckons with the role our mentors play in our development and attempts to provide insight into the world's most famous love story. While desperately trying to share his work with anyone who will listen, he grapples with the notions of youth, tragedy, and validation.

Some Thoughts on WSR+J

"Walter Schlinger [...] is, in other words, suspended, and Gordon's performance locates, with unnerving precision, the particular ache of that suspension. [It's] a work that connects, that communicates, that transforms private uncertainty into shared recognition."

- Theater Beyond Broadway

"Impressively done. Serving both as a tool for self-reflection and as an educational literary experience. [...] Mentally stimulating and lots of fun."

- Lord Cherry's Review

"In tandem with Dixie O'Connell's direction, Gordon puts before the audience a fully formed person in whom anxiety and frustration and ambition and hope intermingle."

Glow-Worm Theatre Co.

2021 - 2025

Glow-Worm was an LGBTQ+ led theatre company that staged works in New York City and Stratford, Connecticut. Its mission was to amplify the work and voices of early-career artists. Their work focused on experimenting with Shakespeare's canon, producing adaptations, imaginative stagings, and contemporary translations. As a founding member, I co-authored rehearsal scripts, produced original works, and acted in the company's troupe for 3 years before becoming a line producer.

Milktooth

Milktooth is the pet project, potpourri, catch-all for creative endeavors that don't fit neatly into the theatrical world of acting OR writing. Here you can find poetry, short stories, live serialized storytelling, and drag. Pretty much anything someone might do in their free time.
