Writing

My writing always seeks to emphasize the collaborative relationship between the audience and the performance. My scripts draw inspiration from classic works and explore the complexities and contradictions we face as people. In addition to my original scripts, I frequently work with Glow-Worm Theater Company to provide rehearsal and performance cuts of Shakespeare's plays.

Walter Schlinger's Romeo and Juliet will premiere at the New York City Fringe 2026 after its workshop performance at FRIGID NY's Little Shakespeare Festival.
